I have spent my whole career building software. This has been mostly business applications that have existed to make their owners money. Sometimes I question the value of my work. I feel at a crossroads. I feel I could use my skills to be of more direct help to people who need it rather than driving the bottom line. This is me trying to reach out and do something with more value. Something I can be proud of in the coming years but most importantly making the world a better place for people less fortunate than me. I have a broad skill set that is focused around the web and open technologies. I can write client side and server side code. I can setup databases and I have delivered many full stack web applications.
