my name is Arlo. I studied Business Informatics and hava a Masters in Distributed Systems. I currently live in Germany. I speak English and German.

Currently I work as a Software Developer / Architect. That means I implement B2B ecommerce oriented business requirements in mostly Java / Spring (Boot) / HTML / Thymeleaf / GWT and I design the architecture of our systems (Ansible, Linux, Apache2, PostgreSQL, etc.) as well as the development lifecycle (git, Continuous Integration with Jenkins, Continous Deployment into e.g. Tomcat, etc.).

After finishing my studies I wanted to volunteer but I could only find organizations where I would have to pay money - which I did not have at the time due to my year abroad in Canada. Now with socialcoder I want to try if I can make it work next to my day job.
