I am a software engineer specializing in web development (frontend and backend) and cloud architectures.  Currently, I lead a group of fantastic engineers at an edutech company named MyEducator who works with textbook authors to publish online versions of their content as cheaper and more feature-rich replacements for hardcopies.

I have worked in edutech companies for most of my professional career and love it!  I find education to be an innovative and rewarding industry to work in.

Professionally experienced in Linux server administration and the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Java, and JavaScript (browser and Node.js).

I am very inexperienced with most Microsoft technologies: e.g .Net, IIS, SQL Server, Active Directory, and Windows Server management.
