My name is Daminda Dinesh Imaduwa Gamage. I am an IT enthusiast with a focus on programming. At present, my focus is on web development. However, I am also interested in Desktop Application Development. I have a 2-year Diploma in Information Technology and a 2-year Associate of Science Degree in Computer Science. I was employed by Gateway Institute of Information Technology as an IT instructor to teach Microsoft Office packages for a government-supported youth program in Sri Lanka in 2005. In 2006, I had the opportunity to teach the same course for teachers of government schools in Sri Lanka.

 

While I like teaching IT related subjects, my passion is for software development. I like to involve in software development projects. I would love to gain real world experience by working as a volunteer. I was able to get a volunteer opportunity in a non-profit organization in October,2016. At the moment of writing this profile, I am working on the project of this non-profit organization in USA. However, I would love to participate in more projects as a volunteer. My goal is to become a professional software engineer, continue volunteering with my skills, and to earn a Master Degree in Computer Science.
