Hi! My name is Vince. I am currently a Software Development Manager at Amazon.com. I have 9 years of professional experience so far; 7 as an individual contributor SDE working mainly in JAVA and designing/developing applications to process a large stream of data (billions of transactions per day). I have some experience in the various AWS products.

In my personal projects I have used PHP, Python, and JavaScript (JQuery, Node.js). I have some decent experience in Wordpress as well. 

I have learned the Android SDK as a personal project but have not built a full app on it yet.

I am Canadian and lived in Canada for 20 years before moving to Seattle after University. I received my degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo in Canada.

In my personal time I like to travel. This year I have been to Fairbanks to see the northern lights and Banff, Canada. Last year I visited Rome, Pompeii, Paris, and London. Top places to visit on my bucket list is Galapagos, Machu Picchu, and the Serengeti.
